Japanese company titty&Co. might not have thought their nomenclature all the way through. Or maybe they just want to be a little edgy–you’ll have to ask them to find out for sure. What I can say with certainty is that any native English speaker will get a laugh out of the word titty in this context.

Regardless of intention, titty&Co. illustrates why you need to consult a localizer whenever you try to reach a foreign demographic, whether you’re doing so at home or abroad.
